JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai Towers 1 & 2 were completed in the years 2012 & 2013 respectively. Tower 1 features over 1,600 guest rooms, making it one of the largest hotels in the world by room count. Both buildings are inspired by the trunk of a date palm, and thus take on a distinctive shape that echoes the natural growth patterns of tree bark. The taller of the two buildings, Emirates Tower One accommodates the private office of the Sheikh.
