The holiday may be over a week away, but there’s no shortage of early Labor Day furniture sales to shop as we speak. Deals on sectionals, sheet sets, and even laptops abound, from Clever-tested brands like Apple, Burrow, Floyd, and Bed Threads. It may not be a Labor Day sale, but Apple’s Education Pricing is in full effect through the holiday weekend (and, in fact, until September 30). We’d be remiss not to encourage you to pick up an on-sale jute rug—a must-have among interior designers. (There’s one in Erin Wasson’s living room, for instance, and in just about every one of these cozy New England homes.) This one from Safavieh comes in a range of widths and lengths—the smallest of which will only set you back $28.
Take 15% off everything—including Troye Sivan’s very own sheet set—during Bed Threads’ end-of-summer sale. Digital design editor Zoë Sessums calls the French flax linen “sturdy, beautiful, and perfect for temperature control.” (The brand’s Last Chance sale section, with deals up to 40% off, is also well-stocked.)
Buffy—creator of the original Cloud Comforter lighter-weight little-sibling the Breeze and some of our favorite cooling sheets—is offering 20% off select items for Labor Day.
With code LDS20, everything (yes, everything) is currently 20% off at Burrow. We’d use the sale as an opportunity to invest in a set of Burrow’s best-selling wall shelves, a sturdy-yet-stylish option for the living room or bathroom. (We’re also partial to the brand’s wicker chair, which can be used both indoors and out.)
Spend more to save more during Castlery’s Labor Day furniture sale, which ends September 8. Along with the retailer’s regular sale section, Clever readers will get $100 off $1,500 spent, $200 off $2,500 spent, and $450 off $4,500 spent on any of the site’s stylish inventory right now. Those in the market for a new sofa would be wise to put that discount toward the Jonathan sectional, which Clever editor Rachel Fletcher called a “dream” for napping and reading in her in-depth review. Head to Crate & Barrel, where you can save up to 60% off as part of the brand’s Labor Day sale, which runs through September 4. In our virtual cart? What do Oprah Winfrey and our commerce editor Audrey Lee have in common? They’re both avid fans of bedding from Cozy Earth—now up to 55% off for a limited time. (Plus orders over $50 ship for free.) Nordstrom’s end-of-summer sale section is also particularly well-stocked. This half-off baking set from Staub—available in white, navy blue, and cherry red—would make an excellent gift for a loved one (or yourself).
