Made of upcycled and repurposed rubber wood, this eco-friendly option from Thuma also includes the headboard, available in gray (pictured) or cream. There are options for the wood base, as well: Choose between natural, walnut, or espresso wood.
While we love the versatility offered by Thuma, the wood platform bed frame is one particular highlight among its designs. Not only does it come in every size, you can even order it as a daybed that comes with cushioned, upholstered panels on one of the longer sides, as well. Tester and editor Zoë Sessums reported the bed’s assembly as hassle free, comparing it to building with giant Lincoln Logs, and loved how “hefty” the frame looks. “The Japanese craftsman technique was true to the promise of having a quiet, easy-to-put-together setup,” Zoë said. Thuma will also plant a tree in partnership with One Tree Planted for each bed frame they sell.
