NOIDA: Registries of 25 more flats in four stalled projects were completed on Wednesday at a special camp set up by the Noida Authority and the stamp and registration department.
This is the second camp organised to expedite registries of flats in projects whose developers have agreed to clear their recalculated dues under a rehabilitation package based on recommendations of a panel headed by former Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant.
With almost all of the 57 developers with projects in Noida agreeing to the relief package, a total of over 13,000 flats will be registered in the long run.
The first camp was organised at Express Zenith, a condo in Sector 77, where 50 homebuyers were handed registry papers of their flats on March 2.
Noida’s assistant general manager (group housing) AK Singh said the flats in projects developed by Gulshan Homes Pvt Ltd, Express Builders Promoters, Divine India Infrastructure and Laureate Buildwell were registered. The camp will continue through Thursday, officials said.
According to officials, chief minister Yogi Adityanath was likely to hand over registry papers to some homebuyers at a programme organised in Greater Noida’s Gautam Buddha University on March 15.
