LUCKNOW: A total of 369 applicants on the waiting list for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) were allotted accommodation through a lottery at an event organised by the LDA at Baradari Lawn in the LDA building on Tuesday under the supervision of vice-chairperson Prathmesh Kumar.
The lottery involved applicants drawing slips themselves.
As their names appeared, their long wait turned into relief.
The allotment included 209 houses under the Sharda Nagar Extension Scheme and 160 under Sector-N of Basant Kunj Yojana.
The entire process was videographed, ensuring fairness. Even those unable to attend the lottery received allocations.
