AHMEDABAD: On Tuesday, the property tax department of the AMC sealed 825 properties of defaulters in the eastern part of the city.
On the same day, property tax collections amounted to Rs 47.72 lakh.
The civic body sealed properties of defaulters in complexes such as Rakhial Arhat Industrial Estate, Akshat Estate, Sumel Business Park, Khokhra Radhe Mall, and Nikol Akshar Arcade.
Additionally, the solid waste management department inspected 432 units in various areas of the city’s south zone, issuing notices to 150 units for public littering and sealing 17 units.
A fine of Rs 1.14 lakh was imposed on these units. In the north zone, notices were issued to 249 units for public littering, with a fine of Rs 75,000 collected.
