AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation conducted its online auction for six plots on Friday and sold four of them for Rs 60.34 crore. These plots had a total base price of Rs. 37.32 crore.
Interestingly, a commercial plot in Isanpur sold for a higher rate than a commercial plot in Motera. The Motera plot went for a total of Rs 9.73 crore at the rate of Rs 1.01 lakh per sq m, against its base price of Rs 1 lakh per sq m. The Isanpur plot sold for Rs 10.03 crore at the rate of Rs 1.57 lakh per sq m against its base rate of Rs 60,000. Of the 22 plots up for auction, 10 have been sold for Rs 997 crore in four days.
Apart from these, Final Plot 53/2, a 1,971 sq m commercial plot in TP Scheme 71 at Muthiya, with a base rate of Rs 65,000 per sq m was sold for Rs 95,000 per sq m, for Rs 18.72 crore.
In TP Scheme No 56 in Narol, F, a 970 sq m commercial plot with a base rate of Rs 50,000 per sq m was sold for Rs 52,000 per sq m, for a sum of Rs 5.04 crore.
On June 18, AMC sold its highest-priced plot so far. LuLu International Shopping Malls Pvt Ltd bought a plot on SP Ring Road in Chandkheda for Rs 519 crore. The plot, measuring 66,168 sq m, had a base price of Rs 76,000 per sq m and was eventually sold for Rs 78,500 per sq m.
