AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation‘s North West Zone took possession of two reserved plots in the city’s Chandlodia and Thaltej wards on Thursday.
In Chandlodia, AMC took over a plot measuring 1,042 sq m reserved for a garden under TP Scheme No. 36 and a 4,462 sq m plot under TP Scheme No. 214 in Thaltej that was reserved for commercial sale.
A builder in Chandlodia was fined Rs 25,000 for not installing safety and green nets at a construction site. In Gota, a builder was fined Rs 40,000 for not installing safety nets and barricades at a construction site.
In various areas of the city, including Ghatlodia and Vastrapur, action was taken against 23 illegally parked vehicles on the road, and penalties were imposed.
