AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is gearing up for another round of plot auctions following the success of their recent auction. This time, six plots across the city, designated for both residential and commercial projects, will go under the hammer.
The combined base price for these plots has been set at a staggering Rs 769.36 crore. The offerings include three AMC plots in Chandkheda and one in Shilaj, earmarked for residential development with a 99-year lease.
Additionally, one plot each in Isanpur and Narol-Shahwadi will be auctioned for commercial purposes. Among the six plots, the priciest offering is in Shilaj with a base price of Rs 1.71 lakh per sq m, translating to a total value of Rs 166 crore.
In terms of size, the largest plot is situated in Chandkheda, sprawling across an impressive 32,296 sq m.
A senior AMC official told TOI that nine plots were submitted for valuation by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (Auda) on March 4.
“Auda approved valuations for eight out of the nine plots submitted,” a senior official said.
“We have chosen six of these eight for auction and sought exclusive authority for the municipal commissioner to conduct the proceedings,” he added.
