Just call it the house that Bravo built. Andy Cohen is bidding adieu to his longtime New York City home, and, in classic Cohen fashion, he’s recruited a reality TV star to sell it. The New York Times reports that the host of Watch What Happens Live has listed his 3,500-square-foot West Village home for $14 million with SERHANT. brokerage owner Ryan Serhant, who rose to stardom alongside Fredrik Eklund on the Bravo series Million Dollar Listing and now stars on Netflix’s Owning Manhattan.
Located in a prewar Bing & Bing–designed building, the spread is a combination of four different units that Cohen pieced together after purchasing the ground floor of the space in 2003. He later added another unit and two adjacent studios with the assistance of architect Gordon Kahn, who designed a custom glass, walnut, and steel staircase to bring the two floors together. The duplex features three bedrooms, an office, a den and a nanny’s suite. Additional amenities include wood-burning fireplaces, a steam room, three storage units, and plenty of closet space.
The NYT reports that Serhant and Cohen’s families bonded during the pandemic, forming a pod with their children, who played together in the home. “The first time I ever walked into Andy’s apartment, I said, ‘Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know,” said Serhant. “Because it’s a one of one.’”
So, what could make Cohen say goodbye to the bespoke dwelling he spent over two decades customizing? Reportedly, the pursuit of outdoor space—and it seems the host with the most has already found it elsewhere. Cohen purchased his new residence, an $18 million duplex penthouse also located in the West Village, back in 2022. The property’s sprawling terrace tacks 2,000 square feet of outdoor paradise onto its 3,000 square feet of interior space.
When asked if Cohen might cross over to Netflix for an episode of Owning Manhattan focused on the listing, Serhant stayed mum. “Bravo and Netflix might have an issue with that,” he said. “But it would be like Deadpool and Wolverine, real estate style. That’s basically the two of us.”
