Our 4 commitments
MIPIM has pledged to be a pioneering event in matters of sustainability. Our commitment is woven into the fabric of our events, initiatives, and partnerships. We intend to actively involve our clients in this journey.
1) Waste minimization: Minimizing the waste that MIPIM generates is a key priority that we share with our partners, visitors and stakeholders to make improvements year-on-year.
2) Carbon footprint: This involves implementing practical approaches, collaborating with the right partners, and helping the industry decarbonize through exhibitions, insights, and awards.
3) Diversity, equity and inclusion: MIPIM will, among other things, continue to advocate for gender balance at conferences, invite 15 Challengers below the age of 30 to present ideas and host events dedicated to diversity.
4) A positive social impact: MIPIM collects and reuses a range of materials through our partnership with non-profit association GreenBee, to share resources with local communities and minimize waste.

At RX, we are serious about sustainability. We are founding members of the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge to make our company, our shows and the wider events industry net zero. We commit to being Net Zero by 2040 and to make a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
