Belagavi civic body to conduct e-khata mela on February 24, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

BELAGAVI: Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) has planned an ‘e-Khata mela’ in Belagavi on Monday at Kumara Gandharva Rangamandira here.

BCC commissioner Shuba B said that the directorate of municipal administration, Bengaluru, issued the standard operating procedure (SOP) for issuing e-Khata through e-ACI software on Feb 17.

Accordingly, it is intended to issue e-Khata to all properties pending within the jurisdiction of urban local bodies in the state within three months. The minimum required documents should be submitted to obtain A and B accounts of the properties.

Documents required for issuing e-Khata for properties registered in the A register include sale deeds, donation deeds, division deeds, right deeds issued by the govt or govt corporation boards, sanction letters, and right deeds issued by the revenue department to prove ownership of the property.

A certified copy of the site release letter approved by the competent authority, a debt certificate up to the current year, a property tax payment receipt for the current year, a photo of the owner, a photo of the property, and a copy of the owner’s identity document should be submitted.

Documents required for issuing e-Khata for properties registered in the B register include sale deeds, donation deeds, partition deeds, and claim release deeds registered before March 10, 2024, the date of proving ownership of the property, a debt certificate till the current year, a property tax payment receipt for the current year, a photo of the owner, and a photo of the property owner, which should be submitted.
