Arkade Developers to redevelop 6.5 acres in Dahisar East, Mumbai, ET RealEstate


NEW DELHI: Arkade Developers has acquired a 6.5-acre land parcel for the cluster redevelopment of Anand Nagar Society in Dahisar East, Mumbai.

The redevelopment project, which spans a plot area of 26,286 sq meters, is projected to generate a gross development value (GDV) of Rs 1,700 crore approximately.

The project will offer a total saleable area of approximately 676,000 sq ft and the project will feature residential and commercial spaces.

Amit Jain, chairman and managing director of the company said, “The real estate sector is experiencing positive momentum, fueled by the 2025 union budget and its focus on housing and rental market growth. This favourable environment has spurred Arkade Developers by acquiring five new projects this year- four redevelopment and one outright project, strategically located in all prime MMR regions.”

The company had acquired a four-acre land parcel in Goregaon West in January 2025. The parcel is currently leased to Filmistan and has a projected revenue of Rs 2,000 crore.

Further, the company added three new redevelopment projects within the Western Suburbs of Mumbai, developing 20,232 sq meters (approximately five acres) across these redevelopment projects located in Andheri East, Malad West and Borivali West. The projected saleable carpet area is about 5.85 lakh sq ft generating a projected turnover of Rs 2,150 crore.

Arkade Developers has a robust pipeline of 16 projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) of which six are ongoing and 10 are upcoming developments.
