BENGALURU: A simplified process has been introduced within BBMP limits to get final e-khata within two days of submitting the applications, BBMP special commissioner (revenue) Munish Moudgil said Friday.
Citizens must apply on bbmpeaasthi.karnataka.gov.in. There is no need to visit BBMP offices after application submission. Assistant revenue officers (ARO) and caseworkers will review applications and ensure the final e-khata is issued within the stipulated time frame, he assured.
Of nearly 2.9 lakh applications submitted so far, 2.7 lakh are already issued. “All ARO offices are equipped to process applications efficiently. On average, pending applications are resolved within a day. The number of daily processing applications is exceeding the number of new applications received,” he stated.
To monitor it, virtual meetings are conducted daily with officials from all eight zones and 64 AROs. Necessary directives are issued for smooth processing, he added.
