NAGPUR: The Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) and Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) on Monday held Lokshahi Din to address issues of citizens. Around 15 citizens participated in the programme and presented their grievences before officials to get them resolved.
The general manager of NIT, Avinash Katade, interacted with the citizens. The majority of the issues were related to layout development under NIT and NMRDA, regularisation, and lease-related.
Ashok Mundhada, one of the citizens, said their layout situated in Zingabai Takli needs development. “Around 400 to 500 plot owners live in the area, and regularisation is also done. Still, our area lacks basic amenities, including roads, sewage lines, gardens, and others. We raised the issue multiple times. Now, officials have assured us about taking steps in the next two to three days,” he said.
