VADODARA: The Dahod district administration has issued eviction notices to 58 individuals occupying properties on government land in the Sanga Falia area. The occupants have been given 15 days to vacate the land and demolish the structures.

The matter came to light after it was revealed that the properties were constructed on government land.

Property owners presented documents claiming ownership, but the district administration found no such records in their files.

The dispute reached the Gujarat High Court, which directed the district administration to hear the property owners before taking action.

Following the hearings, the administration upheld that the land belongs to the government.

On Wednesday, the district administration issued the eviction notices based on its findings. However, property owners retain the right to appeal the decision.
