Divisional commissioner orders for FIR against builders in Lucknow, ET RealEstate

LUCKNOW: Divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob has ordered registration of an FIR against a builder for illegally resuming construction in a sealed building in Wazirganj.

The action was ordered during a ‘janata adalat’ held at the office in the LDA building on Thursday.

A total of 30 complaints related to several issues concerning property, encroachment and other matters were received during the hearing, of which 8 were resolved on the spot. The remaining were assigned a time-bound resolution plan. During the hearing, Adnan Ali of Aminabad reported that a five-story apartment was being illegally constructed at Astabal Charbagh, Wazirganj.

The building was previously sealed by court order, but the seal was broken, and construction resumed.

In another case, Gudiya Devi reported that House No. DS-516 in Sector-C, Sitapur Road Scheme, allotted to her husband, was illegally occupied. LDA vice-chairman Prathamesh Kumar directed officials to remove the illegal occupants within a week.

Additionally, Mohd Adil lodged a complaint regarding illegal encroachment in the parking area of FI Dingra Apartments, Lal Kuan, which was causing traffic issues. A site inspection was ordered, and removal of encroachment was directed.

The hearing was attended by LDA VC Prathamesh Kumar, secretary Vivek Srivastava, additional secretary Gyanendra Verma, CP Tripathi and other officials.
