LUCKNOW: The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Lucknow Zonal Office, has provisionally attached immovable assets worth approximately Rs 90.42 lakh on January 30, 2025, in connection with the case against M/s R Sons Infraland Developers Pvt. Ltd. under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

The attached assets include 0.082 hectares of agricultural land located in Rahmatnagar village, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, registered in the name of the company.

The ED initiated its probe based on over 100 FIRs filed by the Uttar Pradesh Police against M/s R Sons Infraland Developers Pvt. Ltd. and its directors, Ashish Shrivastav, Ankur Shrivastav, and others, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), 1860. The proceeds of crime (PoC) in the case are estimated to exceed Rs 10 crore.

Investigations revealed that the accused, along with their associates, collected funds from the public under the pretense of real estate investments and other lucrative schemes. However, no real estate projects were executed, nor was the promised money returned to investors.

The fraudulently collected funds were deposited into multiple bank accounts belonging to the accused and the company. A detailed financial trail analysis by the ED established that these funds were layered, transferred, and diverted to purchase immovable properties, including the agricultural land now attached.
