NEW DELHI: The board of directors of Embassy Office Parks Management Services (EOPMSPL), manager to Embassy Office Parks REIT (Embassy REIT), have appointed Ritwik Bhattacharjee as its interim chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect.
Bhattacharjee last held the position of chief investment officer in the company.
The moves comes after Sebi‘s recent order cum show cause notice directing the suspension of Aravind Maiya as CEO. Maiya will not be involved in the business, operations or management of EOPMSPL/Embassy REIT in any capacity pending appropriate developments in the legal proceedings relating to the NFRA order/other connected proceedings.
“While we are reviewing the order and evaluating all options, in compliance with SEBI’s directive, effective immediately, Aravind Maiya will be stepping down as CEO of Embassy REIT. He will assume the role of Head of Strategy for Embassy REIT,” the company had said in a regulatory filing.
