Embassy REIT invests Rs 100 crore to develop Bengaluru's Kadubeesanahalli metro station, ET RealEstate

NEW DELHI: Embassy Office Parks REIT (Embassy REIT) will invest Rs 100 crore to construct Bengaluru‘s Kadubeesanahalli metro station on the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

M. Maheshwar Rao, managing director, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL), said, “Such partnerships are instrumental in accelerating infrastructure growth, and we look forward to working together to build a more accessible and sustainable metro network for the city.”

The station will be named as Embassy TechVillage Kadubeesanahalli Metro Station for a period of 30 years from its commercial operation date.

Ritwik Bhattacharjee, interim chief executive officer of the company said, “Previously, we invested over Rs 180 crore to build a flyover at Embassy Manyata Business Park. Additionally, we made around Rs 30 crore investment in a pedestrian footbridge for safer movement.”

Embassy REIT and BMRCL signed a definitive agreement on February 28, 2025, for the development of this new metro station along the ORR corridor.
