MYSURU: The Enforcement Directorate‘s investigation of builder Jayaram, which began Monday evening, wrapped up early on Wednesday.
Jayaram, owner of MMG Construction, told reporters that officials examined his complete business records spanning 24 years, with particular focus on his firm’s activities over the past 13 years. “I provided all the details to the officers regarding my business. My CA assisted me in providing the details,” Jayaram said.
When questioned, Jayaram clarified that ED officials focused solely on his business operations, without inquiring about the Muda scam or the 50:50 scheme. He mentioned providing documentation for five sites received from the Catholic Society.
“They collected details of my business, which I founded 13 years ago. I constructed hundreds of houses and developed several layouts over the last 24 years.”
Jayaram stated that ED officials concluded their investigation and informed him to be available for any additional questioning.
With this, the ED ended the three-day-long probe with regard to the Muda scam in Mysuru. Muda former member Rakesh Papanna’s house in Hinkal was also raided for two days on Monday and Tuesday.
