NEW DELHI: Godrej Properties (GPL) has acquired 53 acre land parcel in Joka, Kolkata.
The proposed project is estimated to have a development potential of about 1.3 million sq ft of saleable area comprising primarily residential plotted development with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 500 crore.
In October 2024, the company had emerged as the highest bidder and has secured the Letter of Intent to develop a group housing plot at Golf Course Road in Gurugram through an e-auction conducted by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).
The 7.5 acres plot will offer a development potential of over 1.7 million sq ft, comprising of residential apartments of varied configurations, with an estimated revenue potential in excess of Rs 5,500 crore.
“Some of the big projects we hope to launch before the end of the year the project in Worli. We have a couple of projects coming on Golf Corse road in Gurgaon. We have a large project in Sector 44 in Noida, 2 or 3 launches planned in Bangalore, quite a few launches in Pune and also some in Kolkata and Hyderabad,” Pirojsha Godrej, executive chairperson of the company had said in its earnings call.
GPL’s collection stood at Rs 4,005 crore for the second quarter financial year 2025, a year-on-year growth of 68% and Rs 7,017 crore for the first half, a year-on-year growth of 62%.
The company has added six new projects with an expected booking value of Rs 9,650 crore in the second quarter of FY25 and two new projects with an expected booking value of Rs 4,800 crore added in October 2024.
