100 people buy flats at BDA mela in Bengaluru, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

BENGALURU: As many as 100 people have bought apartments at the ‘flat mela’ organised by BDA at Konadasapura, east Bengaluru, Saturday. Officials said over 700 citizens visited the mela and enquired about apartments and related financing schemes.

“More than 100 participants paid the initial deposit amount and booked their chosen apartments,” said a BDA official. Fifty allottees were issued allotment letters during the mela.

“Due to the delay in selection of banks and other financing agencies, the other beneficiaries have sought time to pay their deposits and full amount,” explained a BDA engineer.

During the mela, BDA officials had brought both buyers and financing banks on a single platform to facilitate sale of apartments.
