VIJAYAWADA: The state govt has reaffirmed its commitment to resolving all pending land-related issues within the next three months, announced special chief secretary RP Sisodia at the state-level land administration orientation conference on Friday.

Sisodia emphasized that joint collectors will directly oversee grievance redressal processes for land issues, ensuring accountability and transparency in all revenue-related activities. Accuracy in data entry was highlighted as critical, with strict warnings against negligence or errors. He stated that the legal framework for land administration is already well-defined and needs no further clarification.

“Effective land management is a top priority for the government,” said Sisodia. “Digital governance, streamlined procedures, and precise land records are vital. Transparency and proper implementation are essential to earning public trust, and joint collectors will closely supervise all actions.”

Chief commissioner of land administration (CCLA) G Jaya Lakshmi focused on simplifying land-related processes, including web land, freehold house sites, and site allocations. She revealed that four dedicated groups of five members each have been formed to address key land challenges. Vacant land within existing layouts may be utilized for house site allocations under existing regulations.

Additional CCLA-cum-secretary Dr. N Prabhakara Reddy discussed resurvey efforts, land rights, encroachments, and digital land management systems. He addressed queries from joint collectors and revenue divisional officers, providing clarity on crucial policies while overseeing the conference proceedings.
