GURUGRAM: After DTCP’s month-long sealing drive against illegal commercial activities in licensed colonies, HSVP too has started surveying sector areas under its jurisdiction to identify properties where commercial activities are being run in violation of the norms.

A senior HSVP official said, “On the instructions of estate officer Suman Bhankar, the engineering wing has started the survey in sectors falling under HSVP to check if illegal commercial activities are being carried out from residential units. “The work of identifying illegal activities in four sectors has already been completed. Along with the survey, the work of sending show-cause notices to the units from where illegal commercial activities are being run will also be started soon,” he said.

Residents have been complaining continuously regarding illegal business activities being carried out from houses in residential sectors. Recently, in the meeting chaired by HSVP administrator Balbeer Singh instructions were given to officials to take legal action against such activities.
