JAIPUR: JMC Heritage mayor Munesh Gurjar on Sunday inspected a housing scheme of the municipal corporation in Amer after she received complaint of encroachments and illegal constructions in the area.
On Sunday, the mayor suddenly called Hawamahal Zone Deputy Commissioner Sanju Pareek and Deputy Commissioner Vigilance to join her for the inspection.
The mayor inspected the housing scheme site for one and half hours and during the inspection, she found that four houses had been built on the land of the scheme. A thread factory was running in one house and a warehouse for firecrackers had been built on a plot of land.
On this, the mayor got the original documents from the people living in those houses on the spot and got the documents checked by the officials. She instructed officials to bring copies of the documents to the corporation headquarters and get them tested.
