HYDERABAD: BRS working president KT Rama Rao demanded that the state govt to demolish all farmhouses situated within full tank levels and buffer zones of lakes, including those owned by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He said that he does not own a farmhouse at Janwada in Shankarpally mandal, where there were allegations it was constructed in the GO 111 areas, where there are restrictions on the construction activity.

KTR said he took the farmhouse from his friend on lease. He asserted that if this leased property is in violation of any regulations, it should be demolished.

He also dared the Congress govt to prove its commitment by demolishing the farmhouses of Congress leaders including CM Revanth Reddy, ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, MLC Mahender Reddy, and MLA Gaddam Vivek and others.

He urged the CM to lead by example by first demolishing his illegal constructions in buffer zones and within his own party and providing a model of integrity and accountability.

The BRS working president criticized the state govt’s inaction, labelling the current situation as a mere drama under the guise of “HYDRAA. He asked the govt to demonstrate its sincerity by demolishing all illegal constructions on the same day and setting an example for the public.
