LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to begin plot registration in four sectors of its Mohan Road scheme, following RERA registration of Sectors 3, 4, 6, and 7 in the first phase.

During a site inspection on Tuesday, LDA vice-chairman Prathamesh Kumar directed officials to accelerate development work by increasing machinery and workforce deployment. In sector-6, located on acquired land in Kaliakheda village, development activities progressed with road marking, surface dressing, and levelling.

Further infrastructure development, including roads, drains, and sewers, will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs 25 crore.

The project includes 1,617 residential plots ranging from 112.50 sqm to 450 sqm across sectors 3, 6, and 7. Sector-4 will feature 22 group housing plots spread over approximately 56 acres.

The development plan also includes 18 large parks across these sectors. Kumar instructed the establishment of an additional site office in Kaliakheda to enhance project execution efficiency.

In a separate inspection of the Devpur Para housing scheme, Kumar directed officials to address parking issues in 1,520 SMIG and MIG flats by constructing basement parking facilities with parks above. He also ordered the replacement of old playground equipment and expedited completion of EWS buildings, warning of potential penalties for delays beyond two weeks.
