MANGALURU: Nagarashraya Samiti of the Mangaluru City North constituency has decided to finalise the list of beneficiaries for houses to be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Idya village. A G+3 model housing project is being implemented through the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) at Idya village under the PM Awas Yojana.
The Nagarashraya Samiti has decided to prepare a new list of beneficiaries by cancelling the names of those who did not pay instalments, failed to submit documents, and others who did not show interest in availing the houses.
MCC commissioner Anand CL said those who did not pay the instalment and submit documents must pay the instalment and submit the necessary documents at the Urban Poverty Alleviation Cell, Housing Division, MCC Lalbagh office by Nov 30 during office hours.
Required documents include a copy of the original application, caste and income certificate, ration card, voter ID, Aadhaar card (for all family members), rental agreement, photo, Canara Bank passbook xerox, and a copy of the bank challan for the instalment paid.
If the instalment is not paid and documents are not submitted to the office within the stipulated time, it will be considered that the already selected beneficiaries are not interested, and their names will be removed from the selection list of the scheme and new beneficiaries will be chosen, the commissioner stated.
