MUMBAI: Not one bid was received for the cluster redevelopment of Mhada‘s prime 33-acre layout at Kala Chowkie.
Mhada has now extended the deadline to submit bids a fourth time.
The layout comprises 49 residential buildings for low-income groups.
There are about 3,300 tenements, each about 208 sqft carpet.
Mhada officials said the authority promised residents 635-686 sqft carpet free flats, but builders indicated 508 sqft can be given.
Nandkumar Katkar, ex-president, Federation of Abhyydayanagar, said residents were unable to do redevelopment on their own, so they asked Mhada.
