CHANDIGARH: The owners of residential houses in Chandigarh will take out a car rally against the ban on certain categories of transfer of properties in the city by the UT administration.
The cars will start gathering at the ground opposite to Sham Fashion Mall in Sector 34 at 10am and the rally will start at 11.30am on Saturday.
“The objective of the rally is to alert the authorities to implement the Supreme Court’s order in Chandigarh in “true letter and spirit”, thereby, providing relief to the owners/co-owners of residential property share owners in Chandigarh,” said Kamal Gupta, a city-based property consultant.
Chandigarh Property Shareholders Welfare Association, Property Consultants Association Chandigarh, and various other residents welfare associations of Chandigarh will participate in the rally.
The rally will start from from Sector 34, pass through the markets of sectors 33, 32, 29, 30, 28, 27, 19, 18, Bus Stand Chowk, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 38, 37, 36, 35, 44 and conclude at sector 34.
