RAIPUR: In a move to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is set to launch a state-of-the-art ‘Co-working cum Incubation Centre‘, on the third floor of the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) Bhatagaon.
This cutting-edge facility, which will be managed under the Raipur District Urban Public Service Society (RDUPSS) initiative, is designed to provide a dynamic workspace for budding entrepreneurs and startups.
Commissioner Abinash Mishra paid a visit to the RMC’s soon-to-be-launched Centre. In its first phase, the Centre boasts a 150-seater co-working space, with ambitious plans for future expansion to accommodate up to 500 seats.
The facility is equipped with a range of modern amenities essential for a productive work environment, including three small conference rooms, one large conference room, founder cabins, a community hall with recreational games and seating areas, high-speed Wi-Fi, a reception and waiting lounge, and a canteen.
The RMC has already floated a tender to onboard a system integrator, with the process expected to be finalised by the first week of September. During his visit, Commissioner Mishra emphasised the importance of timely completion, instructing the project in-charge to ensure that all remaining work is completed within the next seven days.
The centre represents a significant step forward in creating an ecosystem that nurtures entrepreneurship and innovation in Raipur, providing much-needed support and infrastructure to emerging startups.
