Bengaluru: The BDA has taken up a project for improving and asphalting roads in Arkavathy Layout at a cost of about Rs 100 crore. It recently floated a tender. BDA officials said they are aiming to complete the works within nine months of issuing the order to the successful bidder.
The roads selected for development are in 19th block at Challakere, 16th and 17th block s at Geddalahalli, 20th block at Hennur, 6th, 14th, 15th and 20th blocks in Thanisandra, 8th, 10th and 11th block in Dasarahalli, 5th, 6th & 17th blocks in K Narayanapura, 3rd and 8th blocks in Venkateshpura, 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th blocks in Jakkur, 18th block in Byrathi Khane, 11th block in Rachenahalli and 2nd and 3rd blocks in Sampigehalli.
