Uttar Pradesh CM to launch infrastructure, IT projects in Noida, ET RealEstate

NOIDA: CM Yogi Adityanath is set to visit the city on Saturday to lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure and IT projects and inaugurate key public facilities.

During the visit, the chief minister will lay the foundation stone for Microsoft’s new campus, which is spread across five acres in Sector 145. He is also set to the IT firm MAQ’s new building in Sector 132 and Sify’s IT campus – also spread over five acres in the same sector.

In addition to IT projects, CM Adityanath will also lay the foundation stone for two underpasses on the Noida Expressway, set to come up in Sector 146 and Sector 135. These underpasses aim to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.

Another project scheduled to be inaugurated during the CM’s visit this weekend is the Rs 228 crore Ganga Water Project, which aims to provide clean drinking water to residential areas along the expressway, including sectors 130 and 135. The project will expand Noida’s Ganga water supply to more sectors by the end of 2025.

According to officials, the chief minister also plans to announce new schemes during his visit for farmers whose land was acquired for the district’s development. The Noida Authority has conducted a survey in 10 villages to address issues related to residential areas and compensation demands. Additionally, CM Adityanath will inaugurate a 200 MLD tertiary treatment plant in the city, which will improve wastewater treatment and enhance water quality.

After his visit in the city, the chief minister will travel to Greater Noida and Dadri, where he will unveil a statue of Maharana Pratap and address a public gathering.
