NEW DELHI: WeWork India has appointed Jitendra Mohandas as non-executive chairman while Mahua Acharya and Anupa Rajiv Sahney have been appointed as independent directors of the company.
Adnan Ahmad, member of the board of directors of WeWork Inc. and senior advisor to Yardi Systems, Inc., will also join the WeWork India’s board of directors, taking over from David Mayland, vice president, head of corporate development, WeWork Inc.
Manoj Kumar Kohli transitioned to independent director on September 27.
Acharya most recently served as MD and CEO of Convergence Energy Services while Sahney has served on several corporate and advisory boards, including the Harvard South Asia Institute.
Karan Virwani has taken on the role of managing director and CEO.
