INDORE: Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) removal team on Thursday demolished unauthorized constructions as part of a three-storeyed building constructed in Dhar Kothi.
“The team demolished an illegal penthouse and commercial structure at a house located at 76 Dhar Kothi under Zone 11,” IMC additional commissioner Lata Agrawal said.
The municipal corporation team, equipped with earthmoving machines and other tools, reached Dhar Kothi this morning and initiated the demolition of the penthouse and commercial structure that were allegedly built against the approved map. Within a short time, the team completely demolished the front section of the house. “IMC has been consistently adopting a strict stance against illegal constructions,” she said, adding that the action taken in Dhar Kothi is part of this ongoing campaign.
“As per the Commissioner Shivam Verma, constructions deviating from approved plans will not be tolerated, and similar actions will continue in the future,” the official said. TNN
