JAIPUR: After an overwhelming response for its three under-construction residential schemes, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is set to unveil three new residential projects this week.
These projects will be established in Mansharampura in Jhotawra, Kardhani in Bassi, and in Bainad in Daulatpura suburbs of the city.
“The three projects would comprise residential and commercial plots. Collectively, the three schemes would encompass 850 residential plots. The authority is expected to announce the application dates for these new projects this week,” a JDA official revealed.
Earlier, JDA unveiled three housing schemes—Atal Vihar, Govind Vihar, and Patel Nagar. While the lottery for Atal Vihar was drawn on Feb 14, that for Govind Vihar was drawn on Feb 20. .
A JDA official said more than 75,000 applications were received for Govind Vihar where there are 202 plots. For Atal Vihar, JDA received nearly 50,000 applications for 284 plots. “We have received nearly 1,75,000 applications for merely 756 units for the three schemes. Unsurprisingly, the Urban Development and Housing department would be keen on developing more residential schemes,” the JDA official said.
