Jennifer Lopez Finds a Buyer for Her $25 Million Manhattan Penthouse After 7 Years

Architectural Digest logo

Jennifer Lopez may forever be known as “Jenny from the Block,” but this time, the block in question is Madison Square Park as opposed to her former Bronx digs. The iconic singer has finally found a buyer for her $25 million Manhattan penthouse after seven years on the market, the New York Post reports.

While the exact sale price, as well as the buyer, have not yet been disclosed, J.Lo’s Neo-Georgian property was recently asking for a sky-high $24.9 million. Spanning the top two floors of a four-story building known as The Whitman, the 6,540-square-foot unit features four bedrooms and six-and-a-half baths. It’s heavy on the outdoor space, with a whopping 3,000 square feet of open-air oasis spread out over four terraces, as well as a croquet pitch, a landscaped roof deck and a putting green. What better place for Ben Affleck to sit back with a Dunkin’ iced coffee?

The home has all the security features one might expect of a superstar’s abode, including a private keyed elevator leading into the great room, where a skylight and a wall of Palladian-style windows illuminate the space with sunshine. An open chef’s kitchen boasts a breakfast bar, double wine refrigerators, and a dining area and lounge. French doors open out to a terrace overlooking the park.

As chef Joshua Weissman welcomes AD into his Austin home in the latest episode of Open Door, he jokes that he doesn’t actually live in a kitchen.

The primary suite hosts a dressing room with large closets and two private terraces, as well as two spa-like baths.

Lopez purchased the property for $20.1 million back in 2014, Page Six reported. The property was first listed by the Maid in Manhattan star in 2017 at $26.95 million, and was put on and off the market several times. Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, were residents of the four-unit building when J.Lo moved in (imagine the common room parties!), but listed their place for $6 million in 2016.
