For buyers looking for a turnkey home in the Los Angeles area, this 3,350 square foot Studio City abode is worth considering. Renovated by design-build firm Studio Rob Diaz, with Jessica Nicastro Design in charge of the furnishings, the 1928-build has been completely redone with today’s appetite for organic materials in mind. Plus, it comes furnished.

Wood is the most prevalent of the aforementioned organic materials in the three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom home, with paneling in many of the rooms and built-in cabinetry throughout. “On the interiors, we used Madera Surfaces for all of our wood products, from the floors, to the stairs, the cabinetry and even the cabinet pulls,” Diaz shares with AD PRO. “Their finishes are gorgeous.” Diaz opted for limestone brick on the exterior, and the detached home office, located adjacent to the pool, is clad in cedar. “It’s incredibly inviting, and once you’re inside, the scent of the wood is very calming,” Diaz adds.

Beyond the studio’s cosmetic work, the home now is equipped with automation systems by Meljac and Crestron. The listing is held by Andrew Dinsky of the Dinsky Team.

A new South Florida development, Ocean House, aims to offer a happy for buyers torn between single-family living and the many tall towers cropping up all over the region. This week, sales launched in the 25-unit complex located in Surfside, Florida.

Helmed by Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management (REAM), the building’s design team includes architecture firm Arquitectonica, the firm’s landscape design faction ArquitectonicaGEO, and interior designer Carla Guilhem. The waterfront building will have a mix of two- to five-bedroom units, each with access to the rooftop deck, fitness center, spa, treatment room, and other amenities.

“Cross-pollinating ideas from my experience in yacht and onshore residence design, these villas in the sky feel both idyllic and minimalist, never austere, embodying the relaxed elegance that is quintessentially Surfside,” designer Carla Guilhem said in a statement shared with AD PRO. “Each residence offers a sanctuary where the boundaries between indoor luxury and the captivating outdoor environment seamlessly dissolve, creating an unparalleled coastal living experience.”
