The charming Toronto house where Meghan Markle resided during her Suits days has listed with a $1.39 million asking price, Mansion Global reports. The Duchess of Sussex rented the three-bedroom, two-bathroom abode while filming the USA network series, which she starred in for seven seasons. Markle moved out in 2017, when she upgraded to Kensington Palace with Prince Harry, whom she began dating the previous year. Could a similarly glamorous fate befall the next inhabitant of the contemporary two-story dwelling? Time will tell.
“Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs, her little house, which she adored,” Harry wrote about visiting the home in his 2023 memoir Spare. Markle, a Los Angeles native, made a point of adding some Southern California-inspired flair to the residence during her tenure there, according to an interview with Vanity Fair. Vignettes of crisp white interrupted by a few cheerful pops of color and hue-ordered bookshelves were among the Duchess’s design details in the space.
The A-frame house features a plum-painted exterior with a covered-entry porch. A turquoise front door opens into the modern eat-in kitchen, which is complete with white cabinetry, a tiled backsplash, and open shelving. Modern spa-inspired bathrooms and light, wide-plank flooring are also featured. The crowning feature of the home is arguably its tree-lined backyard patio, which boasts plenty of space to entertain or dine alfresco amongst beautiful landscaping.
