NEW DELHI: The Pune housing and area development board, a regional unit of MHADA, has launched the registration and application process for the sale of 6,294 housing units.
These housing units are across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli districts, including areas under the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA).
The Pune Board’s lottery is divided into five segments:
- 2,340 units under the first-come, first-served (FCFS) scheme, available for immediate allotment.
- 93 units under the MHADA housing scheme.
- 418 units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), also available under the FCFS scheme.
- 3,312 units under the 20% comprehensive housing scheme, covering areas within Pune municipal corporation, Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporation, and PMRDA.
- 131 units under the 15% social housing scheme.
The online lottery for these units will be held on December 5, 2024.Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Pune board said that the government is actively working to expand affordable housing through future projects in areas such as Alandi and Shirur, where land has already been acquired, and added that the redevelopment of old MHADA colonies in Pune will provide further housing options.
Starting from 10th October, 2024, at 12:00 PM, applicants can register and submit their applications online. The registration and application process will close on November 12, 2024, at 5:00 PM, and applicants can submit their EMD payments until 11:59 PM on November 12, 2024.
The provisional list of eligible applicants will be published on November 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM on MHADA’s official website.
Applicants can submit objections or claims regarding the provisional list until 5:00 PM on November 27, 2024. The final list of eligible participants will be published on November 30, 2024.
