We’ve been in the mood for area rugs here at AD for a while, and Nordic Knots—the culty Swedish rug makers who have collaborated with everyone from designer Giancarlo Valle to French artist Garance Vallée—scored high marks on our rigorous handfeel and padding-around-barefoot tests.
“I am most impressed by the weight and texture of the pile which is dense and compact, feels luxurious underfoot, and holds shape with heavy furniture on top,” executive fashion director Lisa Aiken told us.
