MUMBAI: The BMC has included the ‘Debris on Call’ service’, in the ‘Auto DCR’ system.
The BMC has provided a toll free number 1800-202-6364 for Mumbai city and eastern suburbs and 1800-210-9976 for western suburbs available from 8.00am to 8.00pm to book the service.
The inclusion of the ‘Debris on Call’ service in the ‘Auto DCR’ system, where developers seek permission for construction, will enable collection of debris from large development projects in the city.
While collection of debris upto 500 kgs is free. The civic body charges Rs 1,425 per tonne of debris for collecting debris from the city and eastern suburbs and Rs 1,415 per tonne for the western suburbs.
