BENGALURU: Ajit Isaac, managing director of Quess Corp bought a 10,000 sq ft plot in Koramangala‘s third block, also referred to as ‘Billionaire Lane’, for ₹67.5 crore in the most-expensive real estate deal ever in Bengaluru.
At ₹70,300 per sq ft, the deal set a new benchmark for the property market in the country’s technology hub. “The deal was closed last week, and the property belonged to Arvind Reddy and Geeta Reddy. The last deal closed in this locality was clinched at around ₹68,000 per sq ft by TVS Motor,” said people aware of the matter.
It could not be ascertained if Isaac bought the property as an investment or if he plans to redevelop the site for personal use.
