JAIPUR: After earning more than Rs 140 crore by auctioning premium properties, Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has resumed the traditional Wednesday e-auction from this week. Officials said that from now on, the Wednesday e-auction will take place every Wednesday, while the RHB will announce auctions for premium properties at certain intervals.
“Under the Wednesday e-auction, we are going to auction all our unsold properties. The board will select a few properties as premium ones and auction them at intervals,” said a senior RHB official.
Under the e-auction, the bidding windows will open every Monday, and bidders may apply for bidding on Mondays and Tuesdays by depositing a percentage of the bidding amount for the property they have chosen.
“If the bidder fails to win the bid, the security deposit will be refunded within the next three-four days. This is to ensure that the bidders can utilise the amount again if they want to participate next week,” an official added.
RHB has just disposed of residential and commercial properties worth Rs 142.54 crore in the e-auction for premium properties held between Oct 3-5. Besides the Wednesday e-auction, the e-auction for premium properties will continue on the previously announced dates – Oct 7-9, Oct 14-16, and Oct 21-23.
