JAIPUR: For the first time, the Rajasthan Housing Board has organised a public hearing in Pratap Nagar and has issued leases to 37 house owners. With these leases the house owners would get their ownership rights on the RHB plots and would be able to get several government facilities, like the Bisalpur water.
The public hearing program was organized on Sunday at Circle Office Pratap Nagar for hearing and quick disposal of the complaints and problems of the common people in a transparent and sensitive environment.
“Housing Commissioner Inderjit Singh and other officials heard about 250 complainants, out of which 90 cases were resolved on the spot. The Commissioner gave instructions to officers to dispose of other cases within 7 days,” a press release issued by the department stated.
In the public hearing, issues of outstanding amount, issuance of allotment letter, issuance of possession letter, refund, unpaid certificate, transfer of name after registration, transfer of name after death, issuance of registration form, issuance of lease, lump sum lease release certificate were discussed. “Problems like regularization of houses, removal of encroachment from the board’s land, etc, were also resolved,” said a RHB official.
Housing Board secretary Praveen Kumar Aggarwal, chief engineer Manoj Gupta, deputy housing commissioner Bhagwan Sahay were present at the hearing.
