BENGALURU: Sanofi Healthcare India, a subsidiary of global healthcare giant Sanofi, has leased 270,000 sq ft in Hitech City, Hyderabad.

The lease, registered earlier this month, began on January 1 and it spans six floors of RMZ Spire-Tower 110 in Hitech City, a hub for technology and business enterprises.

“The monthly rental is set at Rs 75 per sq ft, amounting to a total of ?2.05 crore. A security deposit equivalent to 7.5 months of rent, valued at Rs 15.3 crore, has also been paid by the global healthcare giant with a lock-in tenure of five years, with a provision for a 15% escalation in rent after three years,” mentioned a registered lease document shared by Propstack, a data analytics firm.

Known for its diverse portfolio of medicines, vaccines, and consumer health products, Sanofi is driving innovation and expanding its operational footprint.

“This strategic move reflects Sanofi’s commitment to growth in India, leveraging the dynamic ecosystem of Hyderabad to enhance its operations,” said a person aware of the deal.
