Welcome to another edition of The Drop List, where we, self-proclaimed shopping obsessives, give you the lowdown on the most highly anticipated new products and intriguing launches of the past month. January 4, 2024 — The historic quilters of Gee’s Bend, Alabama teamed up with Target to release a capsule of must-have clothing and accessories in January. Using crafting techniques that date back to the 19th century, some of the artisans’ work can be found in the permanent collections of The Met. Now, you can own a piece of their inspired work in your own home, with options like this comforting quilt or one of the easy-to-style throw pillows in the line.

January 8, 2024 — H&M unveiled their spring home collection, and it’s full of decor and kitchen accents that will breath life into your space. While there are tons of attractive dish and glassware to behold, we like this lemon-scented candle that reminds us of a pricier one you might see from Loewe.

January 9, 2024 — One of our favorite artist and designers, Élan Byrd, collaborated with Lulu and Georgia on another collection of home goods to give your space a modern, earthy feel. With a range of rugs, wallpaper, and exquisite lighting—like this unique wicker table lamp—there’s lots of ways to incorporate Élan’s organic eye for design into your own space.

January 9, 2024 — Chamberlain Coffee’s newest expansion of its matcha takes on a yuzu twist. With just the right kick to keep you energized and equally lovely whether you choose to enjoy hot or iced, the very refreshing matcha powder is made from 100% Japanese green tea that has citrus notes with hints of yuzu, mandarin orange, and grapefruit. January 10, 2024 — Cozy Earth, the brand with Oprah’s stamp of approval and the sleep creatives behind some of our favorite cooling sheets, has released a new line of sophisticated bath towels to upgrade your bath routine. Made of a seriously cozy bamboo viscose and cotton, the 600 GSM bath linens feature a medium plushness and a unique rice weave for quick drying.

January 16, 2024 — Purple’s new pillow collection, DreamLayer, will help you sleep easy. The brand behind the mattress that our contributor Shoko called a “surprising and effective blend of soft and supportive” has reimagined its signature GelFlex Grid and MicroAir foam into a pillow that cools, relieves pressure, and has a similar feel to memory foam.

January 17, 2024 — This Lunar New Year, Our Place and Fly By Jing have teamed up to create the hottest wok set in celebration of the year of the dragon. Made from heirloom-quality, pre-seasoned carbon steel, Our Place’s lightweight wok can withstand temperatures of up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, plus the set includes a beechwood spatula, handwoven steamer, cooking chopsticks, and FBJ’s signature hot sauces.

January 17, 2024 — Great Jones tapped ceramicist and illustrator Laura Chautin to give their signature Dutch ovens a makeover with whimsical hand-painted floral designs that make cooking feel cooler. Available in a larger-sized white design and a smaller pink version, it’s giving girl decor in the best way possible.

January 18, 2024 — Head over to Diptyque, where you can shop the brand’s newly released bathroom decor launch, a new range from the scent makers behind some of our favorite candles and fragrances. Celebrating the art and rituals of getting unready, the objects include soap holders, trays, and this versatile tumbler that can house your toothbrushes, loose cotton, or your jewelry while you’re washing up.

January 19, 2024 — Beloved by Blackpink’s Jennie, Enhypen’s Jungwon, and Rosalia, Korean sunglasses brand Gentle Monster unveiled their newest capsule in the sweetest way. While you may have caught a glimpse of the brand’s charming candy-wrapper-inspired packaging plastered all over your TikTok FYP, the glasses themselves are no less dreamy, featuring frosted lenses and candy-colored embellishments.

January 21, 2024 — Although the year just started, our friends at Houseplant have been busy delivering some very exciting goods. The brand’s latest releases include a Sake Set (originally launched in December) that they recommend pairing with their very own Sake as well as a Soap + Candle Set that’s made with some of Houseplant’s favorite scents: bergamot, lemon, sandalwood, and more.

January 23, 2024 — Home and lifestyle brand Obakki launched its first-ever skin care collection in January, developed by founder Treana Peake in partnership with women-led cooperatives in Africa. Spanning plant-based lotions as well as face and bath oils, the collection features single-ingredient concentrations that aim to nourish. Not to mention that purchases support the Obakki Foundation, which reinvests profits back into vulnerable communities.

January 24, 2024 — Just in time for Lunar New Year, 20 lacy crepe layers with velvety red bean pastry cream make up this limited-edition Lady M cake (though we’d also consider trying the equally delectable black sesame). January 24, 2024 — We’re excited to share that Boy Smells, the brand behind some of the internet’s favorite candles, debuted two new products last week. By popular request, the brand’s best-selling Woodphoria—fig, coconut, jasmine, and sandalwood—and Vanilla Era—black amber, coffee, incense—are now available as votives to light the way.
