Who can resist a Nancy Meyers–inspired interior? Fans of the filmmaker’s signature cozy aesthetic will soon have the chance to immerse themselves in her world. In The Holiday, Meyers’s beloved 2006 rom-com, Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz’s characters swap homes; Iris (Winslet) stays in Amanda’s (Diaz) swanky Los Angeles manse and Amanda settles into Iris’s quaint English country house. Though no such cottage existed in real life—it was built on a soundstage for the film—the fictional Surrey pad’s enduring fan-favorite status inspired Lucy Small of State and Season Home Design and Supply to construct a faithful replica of the dwelling, which will soon open for visitors looking to step inside the Christmas classic. Located in Ellijay, Georgia (about an hour from Atlanta), the two-story cottage, situated on over six acres of property, will trade the English countryside vista for mountain views.

“We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure an accurate detailed layout that blends cute and cozy with the perfect kitsch circa 2006,” reads The Holiday Cottage’s official booking website. Renderings show interiors that appear nearly identical to those in the film, including a fireplace-warmed living room with stone walls, exposed beams, and a well-stocked bookshelf. The kitchen is complete with blue shaker-style cabinets and another cozy fireplace—plus a “kettle with tea selections” at the ready, per the site.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom hosts yet another fireplace, as well as tall vaulted ceilings and a king bed. The famous tiny bathroom with a soaking tub that Diaz struggles to fit into in the film is also present, though it looks to be—thankfully—sized up for comfort. A patio with a fire pit and a hot tub top off the outdoor amenities.

Though it’s not in England, Ellijay has no shortage of cozy activities fit for a rom-com. The petite mountain town is known as the apple picking capital of Georgia and is home to numerous orchards, wineries, hiking trails, and an apple festival every October.

Bookings for the two-bedroom residence will open on November 7, with stays beginning in October 2025.
