Jenni Benzaquen, senior vice president of St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, and Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, says that this partnership “perfectly infuses Ginori’s bold elegance with St. Regis’s ‘House of Celebration.’ This collaboration redefines the idea of unconventional luxury, inviting guests to experience a sensory journey at our most iconic addresses.” The ‘House of Celebration’ concept harkens back to aforementioned John Jacob Astor, who used to open his home for intimate and private but festive and unforgettable parties. New York society was invited to celebrate life, dancing and toasting, in what would become the first major luxury hotel in American history (the first to have a telephone in every room).
Fabrics, pillows, tablecloths, and even the umbrellas will all be Ginori, including selected pieces from the brand’s Domus home collection. Guests at Café Ginori will experience a menu created to reflect the vibrancy of Italian cuisine, paired with Ginori’s collections. Each dish will be a fascinating journey through the art of plating: a unique approach that redefines the rules of mise en place, both visually and gastronomically, from breakfast to aperitif.
For guests who want a keepsake, there is also a Ginori coaster set designed exclusively for the St. Regis: a custom-made mini collection of four coasters that is inspired by the pairing of the two brands, and references the St. Regis’s “cult” cocktail, the Bloody Mary. The coaster set will be available for purchase both in person and online.
